Thesis: Machine Learning Applications for Characterizing Brain-Damaged Patients' Level of Consciousness.

Applied machine learning techniques to functional neuroimaging data to characterize levels of consciousness in patients with severe brain injury. The findings contributed to our understanding of the neural correlates of consciousness. As part of the work, I also developed and validated a Python library for processing medical images, designed as a complementary tool to standard behavioral assessments.
