Georgios
Antonopoulos.

Postdoctoral researcher working at the intersection of neuroimaging, machine learning, and scientific programming — with detours through embedded systems, image processing, and the occasional medical-image pipeline that refuses to behave.

Farming was always the dream, to be honest. Then the Greek financial crisis happened and somehow I ended up with a PhD in Neurosciences. Not exactly what I had in mind, but here we are. When I grow up, I will be a farmer on a smart farm, where I will finally be able to install all the microcontrollers and DIY electronics I have at home. I doubt that any of it will help with picking olives for producing olive oil, but it remains to be seen — at least it will free up some space at home.
